PACK FBI
PACK FBI, pneumatic press for Wet powder
PACK FBI is the machine suitable for performing the final pressing of products in the Wet powder category, to define the shape and homogeneity of the product in the bottom.
What are wet powder products?
The term Wet powder was coined directly by Co.Pack to identify a category of innovative products for the production method of eye shadows and highlighters.
With Wet powder we identify all dosable or injectable pasty cosmetic powders, through the use of a volatile binding agent, such as isododecane, which subsequently disappears following a “cooking” procedure of the finished product.
The Wet powder category includes Front Injection and Back Injection.
Now let’s analyze the processes.
First of all, this type of Wet powder products are first dosed on a pad, or injected into dedicated plastic pans.
These pans with the dosed product are then pressed, defining a precise shape, to fill the pan homogeneously.
Thanks to the pressing, a large part of the liquid part of the product is extracted, to then complete the drying of the Wet powder through an industrial oven.
So, once the volatile binder disappears, the product becomes usable for make-up.
Co.Pack allows you to create this type of product with machinery that exploits the Front Back Injection technology, offering a complete range of machines for the most varied needs, such as the ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P for large productions, or the FBI L2 for use more flexible in the production of Wet powder products.
This PACK FBI wet powder press is used in combination with the central semiautomatic production unit FBI L2
Features of the PACK FBI press
Mechanically guided mold, the ascent and descent are operated by a pneumatic piston with a maximum pressing force equal to 7000 N.
The press includes an automatic unwinding device for the ribbon, with an innovative quick-coupling roller of the reel.
There is an HMI touchscreen operator panel, to manage the pressure parameters, rotation of the unwinding device and timing.
