EPACK 1000, the semi-automatic electronic cosmetic powder press machine.
The EPACK 1000 was designed by COPACK technicians, developing the EPACK L0 laboratory model and simplifying the EPACK 2400 automatic production model.
This machine uses the exact same parts and devices to replicate the press system of the automatic model.
This machine, in addition to being a valid manual production machine with the advantages of an electronic system that eliminates the problems of a hydraulic press, is also a useful model for industrializing products.
Using the same press system, the production parameters derived from tests conducted on this machine can be applied to the EPACK 2400 automatic production machine.
This new EPACK 1000 cosmetic powder press machine model features numerous innovative features.
The advantages of this machine include improved performance, reduced cycle times, finished product precision, and lower energy consumption.
The machine is composed of:
• Variable powder loading height, the position is electronically controlled with precision to within a tenth of a millimeter;
• Touchscreen HMI for managing the machine’s operating parameters;
• Electronic press system designed by COPACK for the EPACK 2400 model and also faithfully reproduced on the EPACK 1000 model;
• Ribbon device, an optional feature available upon customer request, to improve machine performance.
S.M.A.R.T. PRESS function included in the machine software
This electronic cosmetic powder press machine model also features the “S.M.A.R.T. PRESS” system, a specific function designed by COPACK technicians to take advantage of the advantages of electronics.
This function simplifies the setting of operating parameters through a guided procedure, allowing direct control over the final product.
The guided procedure consists of the HUMAN-MACHINE interaction between the EPACK 1000 and the operator using it.
The operator will perform a powder compaction test, then the machine will ask questions regarding the sensory and drop test quality of the pod. Depending on the operator’s responses to the software, the machine will process the data and adjust the compaction parameters if necessary, allowing for further testing. This allows the desired level of detail to be achieved, thanks to the effectiveness and precision of the set parameters and the applicable micro-adjustments.
