Rotofill EVO – Semi-automatic rotary filling machine for liquids and creams
Rotofill EVO is a semi-automatic rotary filling machine with a trolley-mounted dosing group. It is designed to be agile and versatile: handling different products, quick format changeovers, and a wide volume range thanks to the trolley with dual dosing units. It suits multiple industries and different packaging types.
This model expands the Copack range by leveraging the know-how developed since 1996 (heritage of the former Dosapack, 1971–1996), experience that has guided the machine’s design and development.
Features of the Rotofill EVO filling machine
Rotofill EVO is composed of workstations managed from the HMI, each with dedicated parameters:
- Bottle infeed
Variable-speed conveyor to synchronize the flow with subsequent phases. - Dosing
Two nozzles height-adjustable from the HMI. It is possible to dose during the nozzle’s upward motion to handle foaming products without generating foam. - Cap placement
Manual station: the operator positions caps or pumps flexibly, supporting different packaging types; the “open” station facilitates the management of heterogeneous cap families. - Capping
Pneumatic stabilizing gripper; capping/screwdriving unit on a pneumatic slide with a brushless motor. Settings for speed and torque; interchangeable heads according to cap type and material. - Outfeed
Conveyor prepared for in-line integration with a labeler or an accumulation table.
Interface and adjustments
- 7″ HMI touchscreen for centralized management of working parameters.
- Remotely mounted pneumatic panel for efficient flow control.
- On-trolley pneumatic panel for product suction and dosing control.
Dosing units
The dosing units are pneumatic volumetric: the adjustment handwheel acts on the cylinder stroke, defining the dosed volume.
The two units are independent and mounted on a trolley external to the machine:
- Reduced downtime: at end of batch, connect the second ready unit and restart while the first one is disassembled and cleaned.
- Fast format changeover: manage two formats in parallel by mounting a small cylinder on one unit and a larger one on the other.

Operating mode
Rotofill EVO is designed to be run by two operators: the first maintains the bottle load on the infeed conveyor and manages finished bottles accumulated on the rotary table; the second places the cap on the bottle.
