Rotofill PRST is a rotary automatic liquid filling machine with a peristaltic pump dosing group.
Designed for precise, clean, and easily reconfigurable production, with a specific focus on strictly liquid products and fast format change cycles.
It is a new addition to the Copack range: historically our fillers have mounted volumetric dosers, know-how developed since 1996 and inherited from the former Dosapack (1971–1996).
Features of the Rotofill PRST filling machine
The Rotofill PRST filler is composed of several stations, each managed from the HMI with dedicated parameters:
- Bottle infeed conveyor (entry) with variable speed for synchronization with the following phases.
- Peristaltic filling station: two peristaltic pumps ideal for liquid products, usable individually or in parallel to reduce filling time. The pumps are driven by a stepper motor; you can set rotation speed and time to define the filling phase cycle time.
- Pick & Place for caps: pick-and-place arm for cap pickup and placement, fed by a rotary table and a variable-speed conveyor; in-house designed kinematics for reliability and repeatability.
- Cap tightening: pneumatic gripper to stabilize the bottle; capping/screwdriving unit on a pneumatic slide with brushless motor. Settable parameters include the terminal rotation speed setpoint and the applied tightening torque. Interchangeable heads according to cap type/material.
- Outfeed conveyor: can be connected in-line to a labeler or to an accumulation table for collecting filled bottles.

Quick change of the capping head, pneumatically actuated: a Copack design that drastically reduces downtime.
Rotary table pockets: manual removal/installation with magnetic coupling for a simple, fast procedure.
Operating mode
The Rotofill PRST is designed to be operated by a single operator: maintaining the bottle load on the infeed conveyor and supplying caps on the rotary table (placed close and parallel to reduce movement).
This arrangement, validated during testing, improves machine control. The cycle automatically performs filling, capping, and tightening.
