ROTOPACK 100 PS/4 Rotary Automatic Compacting Machine for Cosmetic Powders

ROTOPACK 100 PS/4 is a fully automatic machine designed and built by Co.Pack to compact cosmetic powders.

This model automates all the processes an operator would perform to produce pressed compacts.

Thanks to its automation and consistency, you can increase your production capacity compared with traditional compacting presses such as the PACK 160 80 PS.

Compactor Features

Rotary monobloc in AISI 304 stainless steel. Digital die height adjustment group.

Four-station rotary table:

1. Pan (godet) loading area,
2. Powder loading,
3. Powder compaction,
4. Pan discharge.

Working dies Ø 160 mm, easily interchangeable for pan size changeovers.

Powder loading chamber adjustment via external micrometric control.

Variable-speed pan infeed and outfeed conveyors.

Pick & Place device for positioning pans into the die.

Automatic powder feed hopper in AISI 304 stainless steel, complete with a patented device to improve powder spreading quality and speed, plus powder level sensor.

Hydraulic compaction station with adjustable compaction speed, number of presses, and dwell time.

Compaction cloth unwinding and take-up system with automatically adjustable stroke.

Discharge station complete with rotating brushes to clean the die and the pan.

Touch Screen control panel mounted on a swing arm, displaying all working parameters (recipes), production statistics, alarms, and diagnostics.

Optional Integrations for ROTOPACK 100 PS/4

• Pan feeder, complete with chute and electrical control equipment for the vibrator.
• Automatic loading system for the compactor hopper consisting of a powder feed hopper (approx. 40 L) and a powder conveyor belt from the feed hopper to the compactor hopper.
• Cleaning device for pressed godets/pans.
• Automatic godet/pan discharge system into standard thermoformed trays.
