DOSAPACK WP – wet powder dosing unit
DOSAPACK WP is a wet powder dosing unit designed to dose “baked” powder with stable and repeatable results, keeping the product in motion during production thanks to an integrated hopper mixer and a vertical architecture.
Overview
DOSAPACK WP is developed using our PACK ECO pneumatic dosing unit as a base: it uses the same dosing axis, but with a configuration dedicated to wet powders. The difference is not “the axis”, but how it is applied within the project.
On DOSAPACK WP, the dosing axis is mounted on a vertical structure (instead of horizontal). This architecture allows the integration of a hopper mixer that keeps the product in motion, reducing the risk of separation between the liquid and solid phases of the wet powder. It also supports the flow of product from the hopper to the dosing unit suction tube, improving dosing consistency throughout the production shift.
The mixer maximum rotation speed is 30 rpm. The dosing unit is built on a mobile trolley frame for easy handling and positioning at the workstation when required.

Dosing volume is set by parameter (dosing stroke) without a handwheel: faster adjustments and easier repeatability between operators and batches.
3) Brushless vertical “product cut-off” slide
Vertical slide designed to simulate a manual gesture (similar to a sac a poche) and “cut off” the product from the nozzle. Working stroke 100 mm with brushless motor.

Contact parts and quick disassembly
Product contact parts are made of stainless steel AISI 304, with AISI 316 available on request. All dosing-axis connections use tri-clamp to simplify disassembly/assembly during cleaning.
In-line integration: ROTOPACK WP 1500-2P
DOSAPACK WP is designed to operate in the dosing station of the semi-automatic rotary machine ROTOPACK WP 1500-2P, which performs the complete cycle of dosing and pressing the wet powder baked type. The dosing unit is positioned and coupled to the machine, with a trolley-to-main-unit cable connection providing the digital start signal for dosing.
Application versatility (with change parts/options)
Based on a proven platform such as PACK ECO, DOSAPACK WP can be adapted (with format change parts and/or optionla) to products other than wet powders, depending on viscosity and the required process. Suitability is defined on samples and the specific application.
