ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P, automatic rotary injection and pressing machine for Wet Powder in Front Back Injection mode
ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P is a Wet Powder machine capable of simultaneously dosing from 6 to 12 different colors (depending on configuration) via the dosing units.
The machine is designed to simultaneously dose from 6 to 12 different colors (depending on configuration) via the dosing units.
F (front), B (back), I (injection) indicates two possible production methods:
- FRONT: the product is injected into an intermediate plate and then deposited into the receiving pans (godets);
- BACK: the product is injected directly into the receiving pan through small holes made in the plastic pan itself.
Features of the ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P automatic machine for Front Back Injection Wet Powder
The ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P machine consists of:
- Rotary monobloc unit;
- Injection mold area for up to 12 colors, with electronic motion control;
- Cloth unwind device;
- One or two pressing groups (according to request);
- Automatic pan (godet) loader;
- Finished-pan extraction group and discharge onto a conveyor belt at the final outfeed station;
- Photoelectric barriers and safety measures compliant with EU standards;
- Touchscreen HMI to view alarms and machine status and to access dozens of configurable parameters, allowing the machine to adapt to cycle needs or product formulas.
The machine must be completed with 1 or 2 CO.PACK Injection Trolleys. Each trolley is an external unit that can be freely moved within the production area and includes:
- 6 configurable electronic injectors;
- 6 hoppers of 2.5 or 5 liters with electronic agitation system.
What are Wet Powder products?
The term Wet Powder was coined by Co.Pack to identify an innovative product category for producing eyeshadows and highlighters.
Wet Powder refers to paste-like cosmetic powders that can be dosed or injected using a volatile binder (e.g., isododecane) that later evaporates during the “baking” process of the finished product.
The Wet Powder category includes both Front Injection and Back Injection.
Process overview:
First, Wet Powder products are either dosed onto a pan or injected into dedicated plastic pans.
These pans with the dosed product are then pressed to obtain a precise shape and fill the pan evenly.
Pressing extracts much of the product’s liquid phase, after which the Wet Powder is dried in an industrial oven.
Once the volatile binder evaporates, the product is ready for makeup use.
Co.Pack enables production with Front Back Injection technology, offering a complete range of machines for various needs, such as FBI L2 for medium-scale production, or PACK FBI for pressing a wide range of Wet Powder products.
ATTENTION:
The ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P system is sold with 2 CO.PACK Injection Trolleys, since the injectors are mounted on this external trolley rather than on the main ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P structure.
Without at least 1 CO.PACK Injection Trolley connected to the ROTOPACK FBI 2000 2P, the main unit cannot be used. Using 2 CO.PACK Injection Trolleys is not mandatory, but it is required if you want to inject 12 colors simultaneously.
It is possible to share one trolley among multiple machines; however, a single CO.PACK Injection Trolley cannot operate simultaneously on two or more machines.
Therefore, if you have two systems from our line dedicated to cosmetic powders using the innovative FBI technology, you need at least two trolleys—one for each main machine.
