ROTOFILL 50-260 – automatic liquid filling machine
ROTOFILL 50-260 is an automatic liquid filling machine designed to perform at its best on low-viscosity liquids (e.g. propylene glycol) and handle moderate viscosity products (e.g. vegetable glycerin), with output up to 50 pcs/min and high dosing repeatability.
Not recommended for very high-viscosity products such as mascara and lip gloss: dedicated solutions like ROTOFILL ML2100 or ROTOFILL ML-ECO are more suitable.
Overview
ROTOFILL 50-260 is built on a solid mechanical design engineered for stable and repeatable movements, aiming at high performance and consistent filling accuracy. The machine is organized into 3 workstations: dosing, cap pick & place and capping.
The project focuses on fast changeover: a rotary table with magnetic pockets, height adjustments via handwheel and numeric indicator, and a pneumatic quick-change system for the capping chuck to reduce operator intervention time.
Operation is managed via a 7” touchscreen HMI. Pneumatic settings are grouped on a dedicated panel with flow regulators, while fiber-optic sensors monitor key cycle phases for process stability and reliable alarms.

Technical details
Bottle infeed and accumulation
The infeed conveyor includes a multi-lane accumulation section to buffer a high number of empty bottles and ensure a steady feed into the rotary table.
Dosing station with adjustable nozzle height
The dosing station uses a vertical slide column to position the nozzles at the correct height. This allows dosing with the nozzle inside the bottle neck and supports stable filling.
Cap pick & place with vacuum
Caps are fed by a vibratory bowl feeder. A mechanical pick & place deposits the cap onto the bottle using a vacuum pump, with bottle presence control enabling the pick cycle.
Dual brushless capping + bottle stabilization clamp
The capping section includes two cappers (pre-capper + capper) to support high output. Both are brushless and adjustable from the HMI: speed up to 2800 rpm and torque up to 3 Nm. During tightening, the bottle is held by an adjustable pneumatic stabilization clamp to avoid sudden shocks on small formats.
Fiber-optic sensors and alarms
Fiber-optic sensors monitor bottle presence in dosing, dosing enable, pick & place conditions and key process alarms: no bottles at infeed, empty cap feeder, and missing cap before outfeed.
